Water suspended — movement made permanent.

In Sky, Sand & See, Zheng Lu captures the ephemeral nature of water and transforms it into sculptural permanence. Drawing from calligraphic traditions and contemporary forms, his works freeze moments of fluid motion — where splashes, currents, and fragments become solid, reflective structures. Through stainless steel surfaces that both absorb and reflect their surroundings, the sculptures create a shifting dialogue between material and environment. Balancing control and spontaneity, Sky, Sand & See explores the tension between the transient and the enduring — where movement, once fleeting, becomes timeless.
