SUSPENDED IN TIME
Blandin’s paintings unfold in a suspended space where memory, perception, and atmosphere quietly converge. Balancing structure and fluidity, figuration and abstraction, his works do not depict places so much as they evoke them — as if filtered through recollection, sensation, and shifting light.
Landscapes and figures alike appear in states of emergence and disappearance, dissolved into chromatic fields of soft tension and luminous depth. Time, in Blandin’s work, feels elastic rather than fixed, inviting the viewer into a contemplative experience where the seen and the remembered become inseparable.
