Galerie Sept is delighted to present a duo exhibition of Johann Alexis and Lee Hyun Joung at Enter Art Fair Copenhagen (28–31 August 2025).

Johann Alexis, a Franco-German artist, creates minimalist abstractions where rhythm, balance and materiality open a space for meditation on consciousness and the human condition. His refined use of color and form offers works that are both calm and dynamic, inviting viewers into a dialogue between body, soul and environment.

Lee Hyun Joung, born in Seoul and based in Paris, builds poetic universes through Hanji paper, ink and pigments. Her delicate “paths,” drawn line by line, act as metaphors for memory and time, transforming her canvases into intimate landscapes that merge spirituality and contemporary sensibility.

Though their languages differ, Alexis and Lee share a common ground: a search for balance between intuition and structure, inner reflection and universal harmony. Their works resonate in the way they slow the gaze, creating an encounter that is both contemplative and deeply human.

With this presentation, Galerie Sept highlights its commitment to artists whose practices transcend borders and invite us to pause, reflect, and connect on a deeper level within the dynamic energy of Enter Art Fair.
