His artistic journey began in 1997 when he apprenticed at The Art of Restoration, refining his expertise in the conservation and restoration of frescoes and historic decorations across Lombardy. Immersed in the rich artistic heritage of Northern Italy, Casati developed a profound understanding of color, texture, and composition—elements that would later define his own artistic voice. In 2017, he embraced abstract painting, merging his classical training with a contemporary sensibility. His works evoke a delicate balance between drama and lightness, where gestural intensity meets refined craftsmanship. Through dynamic compositions and layered textures, Casati explores the emotional depth of abstraction, creating pieces that resonate with both historical echoes and modern energy. Today, his practice continues to evolve, offering a dialogue between tradition and innovation, structure and spontaneity.
