MANU MUNOZ SPAIN, b. 1977

Biography

THE ART OF ENDLESS EXPLORATION

Manu Muñoz's work is a continuous journey through transformation, experimentation, and the interplay between order and chaos. Rooted in nature as both a starting point and a final objective, his creations strip real elements of their meaning, reducing them to pure forms in a timeless and universal aesthetic. Born in a small village in southern Spain, he began his artistic career in 1990 through murals and graffiti, later transitioning to canvas after being invited to a charity exhibition. Since then, his work has evolved outside the constraints of artistic trends, embracing an eclectic and deeply personal style. His compositions merge conflicting concepts, crafting images that serve as both reflections of primitive emotions and fertile ground for new interpretations. Muñoz sees creativity as an act of freedom, unbound by rigid techniques or fixed themes, allowing his work to evolve alongside his personal experiences and the shifting world around him. After 30 years of artistic exploration, with exhibitions across Europe, America, and Asia, he remains dedicated to what he calls "endless learning"—a relentless search for new visual languages that expand his artistic discourse and push his work into uncharted territories.
