Biography
Sebastiaan Knot is a Rotterdam-based artist exploring light, color, and spatial perception through geometric compositions of light.
REDEFINING SPACE THROUGH LIGHT AND DIMENSION
Knot is exploring the relationship between light, color, and spatial perception. Rooted in photography, his work transforms simple studio constructions illuminated with colored light into luminous geometric compositions that blur the boundary between image, object, and architectural space. Knot has exhibited internationally, including the exhibition Vasarely Legacy at the Fondation Vasarely in France, and has participated in major art fairs such as Art Miami, EXPO Chicago, MIA Photo Fair Milan, and Unseen Amsterdam. His work is held in public and private collections, including Maasstad Hospital Rotterdam and Fontainebleau Las Vegas.
