REDEFINING SPACE THROUGH LIGHT AND DIMENSION

We are proud to welcome Sebastiaan Knot as our newest resident artist. In this first phase of our collaboration, we present his artworks created alongside spatial designer Hedwich Hooghiemstra. Their work explores the transformation of three-dimensional space into two-dimensional photographic images, inviting the viewer to experience depth without direct immersion. By reintroducing these images into a new spatial context, the viewer and the environment become integral to the artwork.Over the past year and a half, Knot and Hooghiemstra have developed a visual language centered on transparency, reflection, and layering, bridging photography and spatial design. Their collaboration blurs the line between dimensions, offering an innovative perspective where both disciplines merge into a captivating artistic experience.
